Horrible!

Near ikseongdong and the palace

No make up service, front staff were not willing to help with anything - cannot help get a cab despite us having pieces of luggage, did not know directions to where we were going, told us to get directions from the locals on the street.

Great if you like to eat or shop!

Location is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station. Plenty of shopping and restaurants around.

AC did not work and the design of the bathroom is not ideal for two people. Constantly having to shuffle around each other to fit.

Good place to stay for a weekend trip!

Rooms were clean and the staff was nice during check in and check out.

When we came in it was really hot in the room and we had to keep the window open the whole time.

There was less cigarette smells in the room, unlike other hotels we’ve stayed in.

No public transportation in the vicinity. Had to walk about 20 minutes to find public transportation. No complimentary parking.

False advertising.

It was close to different public transportation.

The pictures are a total overstatement. The room was small and was nothing like the pictures. The bathroom had an odd sewage smell at night. The hallways reeked of cigarettes. The elevator was very small almost didn’t fit all of the luggage. Also the beds were a little bit harder than expected. The photos need to be seriously updated. It does seem like an old hotel that needs to be updated.

Clean and Comfortable Hotel

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great! The convenience store in the hotel.

The bathroom was a bit small and fixtures a bit dated. The coffee shop had very limited opening hours and options.

Great location for Christmas day.

Great location for Christmas day. Everything was nearby. Got an free room upgrade. Breakfast was good too. There was an CU store in the property and an amazing pizza place right across the street.

Close to restaurant, bigger room in Seoul, 4 mins walking...

Close to restaurant, bigger room in Seoul, 4 mins walking from Anguk Station and close to Airport Shuttle Bus , only 6 minutes walking to the bus station.

The room is a bit dirty, there are ashes around the corner of the room. There is no kettle and glass for drink. It’s a bit difficult for tourist to drink if they do not bring their own glass or bottle eventhough water dispenser is available.

Hotel is accessible to all by walking (within 2km) restaurant, shopping, museum...

is found in an area where there are several small bars, local people tend to get drunk. However, there are some nice little restaurants

Very good location and helpful staff.

Very good location and helpful staff. There are many restaurants and convinient shops around. They have two types of rooms: the one with new furniture is very good but the one with old furniture is too bad, the floor, the chairs and table, the beds... you fill like you were in somewhere in 19th century.

Friendly staff.

Friendly staff. Good location to 3 metro lines and shopping area.

They dont provide aircon during autumn season so it can get abit warm and stuffy. But the staff provided uswith an electric fan. Lights in the room are very minimal and orange lighting. They dont automatically provide floor mats for the bath. Have to keep asking for it everyday or just give up and use any leftover towels.

It was too expensive for what it was.

It was too expensive for what it was. Very noisy, you can hear the people from upstairs, and the room service starts very early and can’t rest in the morning. We can smell cigarette smoke in the corridor. Very old facilities. I would be recommend with that price (KRW 181,000 a night).

Great location.

Great location. Near the best tourist sites and transportation. 5 min to airport bus and subway. Very helpful staff-ask for a map of the area. Fast Hot water, bath tub. Great shopping and places to eat in the neighborhood.

No air con or heater in room- didn’t need it as it was autumn so I left the window open (a little noisy occasionally at night). Bathroom ceiling is low. Standing in the tub to shower I only had 4 inches above my head (I’m 5’ 6”).

Location, spacious family room

It was so hot in the hotel?! I think this is a ‘Korean’ thing rather than just this hotel but the room was boiling hot and what we thought was a rudimentary aircon control actually started to pump out more hot air during the night? I.e the heating is just controlled centrally. It was not even winter yet very, very hot inside and the only windows that were possible to open were two little vents. I can’t ever recall having been so uncomfortably hot during a stay in a country (it was the same situation in our next hotel - crazy!!!) I actually got sick from being cool outside then coming in to the intense dry heat inside the hotel. A hotel should be a place where guests feel comfortable. Why was there no aircon or fully opening windows?
